Abstract:

This annual report is a compendium of statistics from 22 federal agencies providing the latest available data on the well-being of children in the United States. It presents background data and highlights 38 key indicators of children’s well-being, including children’s family and social environment, economic circumstances, physical environment and safety, health, behavior, and education. The report is a newly structured tenth anniversary edition that features two new sections, nine new indicators, and includes appendices with detailed data tables and data source descriptions.
