basis.
- NSF Deputy Director approves appointments.
- Open competition
and OPM certification of managerial qualifications are required
for Career appointments.

Eligibility
- Candidates must meet SES managerial requirements and technical
requirements for the position.
- Candidates must be a citizen
or national of the United States or be a citizen of a country
