The FAA Offices of Safety Services and Airport Safety and Standards, in partnership with AAAE, ACC, ACI-NA, NASAO, and the University Aviation Association, announces a Design Competition for Universities. This competition gives students at U.S. colleges and universities an opportunity to address technical challenges in the areas of Airport Operation and Maintenance; Runway Safety/Runway Incursions; Airport Environmental Interactions; and Airport Management and Planning. The competition runs until April 17, 2009; top winners will win cash awards.
