Abstract:

The mission of the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare is to promote and protect the health and safety of all Idahoans. It offers programs that deal with complex social, economic and individual issues. Programs include Medicaid, food stamps, child protection, disease prevention, child care, child support, and substance abuse problems.
