St. Lawrence-FDR Project Visitors Center - Directions

The Visitors Center is open daily from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Winter Hours (between Columbus Day and Mother's Day): Weekdays 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Closed weekends except for special events. 

We’re Easy To Reach…

From New York City/Albany: Take Interstate 87 north to Plattsburgh. Exit onto Route 3 west and turn right onto Route 190/Military Turnpike north (2 miles). Take Route 190 to Route 11 (25 miles). Turn left onto Route 11 and proceed into Malone (30 miles). There, take Route 37 north to the Route 131 exit, marked “Robert Moses State Park/Eisenhower Lock/Power Dam” (30 miles). At Route 131 (across from St. Lawrence Centre mall), turn right and proceed through the Eisenhower Lock tunnel. After the tunnel, take the second right onto Robinson Bay Road and continue for two miles. Turn left onto Hawkins Point Road and follow the entrance road to the visitors center.

From Buffalo/Rochester: Take Interstate 90 east, then follow directions from Syracuse. 

From Syracuse: Take Interstate 81 north to Watertown, then Route 37 north to Massena (90 miles) and follow directions from Massena.
