Public transportation in Shreveport is handled by a fleet of of over 50 modern buses equipped to handle all passengers, including those with disabilities. The bus system is known as "SporTran".
The Overton Brooks VA Medical Center is serviced by two routes. They are named Metro Loop 1 and Metro Loop 2. Some of the schedules on these routes include stops at the Medical Center main entrance.
