ETHICS NEWS AND INFORMATION EMAIL LIST SERVICE

The Office of Government Ethics News and Information e-mail list service is intended to enhance communication from OGE to the executive branch ethics community.  Subscriptions are restricted to Government employees and military personnel.  However, the number of subscriptions per agency is unlimited.  We encourage Designated Agency Ethics Officials to ensure that all employees in their agencies with ethics program responsibilities subscribe.

News and information disseminated via this mailing list will include DAEOgrams, program review schedules, quarterly publication of advisory opinions, announcements for training courses and the national ethics conference, vacancy announcements, timely reminders of relevant report deadlines, publication of relevant federal register notices, appropriate policy decisions and other information that OGE deems appropriate.  Additionally, OGE will post information submitted by agencies that it determines would be of interest to the ethics community.

HOW TO SUBSCRIBE:

Send email request to ETHICS_MAILINGLIST@oge.gov.  (Provide your name, email address and agency.)

OR, follow the directions below:

1. Access the GPOLISTSEV page on the Government Printing Office website at http://listserv.access.gpo.gov/.
    
   
2. Click on On-line Mailing List Archives.
    
3. Scroll to the bottom of the list and click on OGE-ETHICSINFO-L. 
   
   
4. Click on Join or leave the list ( or change settings).
    
5. Complete the requested information (email address and name).
    
6. Click on Join the List.
    
7. You will receive a notice on the top of your screen that “ A confirmation request is being sent under separate cover.” 
   
   
8. Close this page by clicking on the “X” in the corner and go into your email system.  When the confirmation request arrives by email, follow the instructions to confirm your subscription by clicking on the link provided.
    
9. You will receive an email confirmation that you have been added to the OGE Ethics Mailing List. 

Please note, your subscription must be approved by OGE before the confirmation email is received and therefore, it may not be instantaneous.
