Abstract:

The Nursing Workforce Diversity offers grants which are awarded to schools of nursing, nursing centers, academic health centers, State or local governments, and other public or private nonprofit entities to increase opportunities in nursing education for individuals who are form disadvantaged backgrounds, including represented minorities. Grantees use funds to provide student scholarships and stipends, pre-entry preparation, and retention programs.
