PROBLEM
The goal of this project is to develop a model with alternative educational methodologies to provide an effective and efficient means by which MCH professionals can enhance their skills and capabilities while continuing to fulfill daily responsibilities. In addition, barriers that prohibit continuing education MCH professionals will be substantially reduced through the efforts of the project. The primary delivery platform will be the Internet. The instructional design for all the instructional modules will be based on the Student Oriented Comprehensive Knowledge Enhancement Technique (SOCKET) model. Two continuing education modules will be developed in the areas of Parenting Skills and Domestic and Child Abuse.
