SUBJECT:	2008 Survey of Ethics Officials


This is a follow-up to the 2008 Survey of Ethics Officials recently distributed by the U.S. 
Office of Government Ethics (OGE).
 
The distribution for this survey is very narrow; therefore, it is important that each 
recipient responds.  Because survey responses are anonymous, OGE does not know who 
has completed the survey. 

Survey invitations were e-mailed to Designated Agency Ethics Officials (DAEOs), 
Alternate DAEOs, and other high-level agency ethics contacts on October 9, 2008. The 
survey closes on October 24, 2008.

If you are a DAEO or Alternate DAEO and have not received the survey or would like 
the survey re-sent to you, please contact Karen Rigby by phone at 202-482-9212 or by e-
mail at ethics_official_survey@oge.gov.  Ms. Rigby is available to answer any questions 
regarding the survey.
