Abstract:

This report compares the annual assessment of nursing home residents in the country in urban areas, large towns, small towns, and isolated small towns during 2001 based on data collected from the Minimum Data Set for Nursing Home Resident Assessment and Care Screening. It analyzes the level of cognitive function, clinical instability, risk of death, level of care, and quality indicators of each resident. The report includes charts, figures, and appendices.
