Disaster Summary for FEMA-1306, Florida Declaration Date: October 20, 1999 Incident Type: Hurricane Irene Incident Period: Oct. 14 through Oct. 24,1999 Counties Declared and Types of Assistance as of Oct. 28, 1999: Brevard, Broward, Dade, Indian River, Martin, Monroe, Okeechobee, Palm Beach, St. Lucie, and Volusia counties for the Individual Assistance and Public Assistance programs. (10) Collier, Flagler, Glades, Hendry, Highlands, Orange, Osceola, Polk, and Seminole counties for the Individual Assistance program only. (9) All counties in the state are eligible to apply for assistance under the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program.
