EEO Training for New Investigators

Five Day:  Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (Except Friday which ends at Noon)

Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. on Monday

Participants are taught basics regarding  EEO law and provided the opportunity to develop essential investigative techniques in a small group setting.  Trainers also use instructive role plays and exercises to assist participants in completing two actual investigations, which include allegations of harassment, disparate treatment and disability discrimination.

Course Topics include:

  • Basics of EEO law and theories/analyses of discrimination
  • The 1614 regulations and federal sector EEO process
  • Models of proof in employment discrimination cases
  • Methods of investigating and gathering of evidence
  • Tools and techniques for planning and conducting interviews
  • The Investigative Report and Investigative Summary
