HIV/AIDS in Rural Areas: Lessons for Successful Service Delivery

This booklet examines projects funded to develop models that offer improved quality and access to HIV care in rural areas. The projects were funded by HRSA's Special Projects of National Significance program, a component of the Ryan White CARE Act. It discusses the goal to enter rural environments to determine whether a project's impact has continued since the grant period expired and how each activity has influenced care outside the confines of a single community.
