HR Applications

ARC's HR staff uses multiple applications to maximize the efficiency of its service offerings.

webTA Time & Attendance System

ARC provides pay and leave support to its customers using the webTA solution, a federalized time and attendance system provided by Kronos, Inc., and designed to interface with our payroll provider, USDA's National Finance Center (NFC).

The webTA solution automates and simplifies timekeeping and labor management. It enables employees to enter and validate their own time electronically so that supervisors can approve employee timecards on-line.

webTA also allows for the electronic creation, routing, and approval of leave and premium pay requests, as well as enabling employees to track their time by project and donate leave electronically through the Leave Transfer Program.

System for Time and Attendance Reporting (STAR Web)

Some ARC HR customers use NFC's STAR Web time and attendance system as an alternative to webTA. STAR Web is a web-based application that allows for employee or timekeeper input of time and attendance information. ARC provides full support for this system, including training and functional assistance.

Electronic 52 (E-52)

E-52 is ARC's proprietary personnel action request system. It provides a cost-effective method for management to electronically request personnel actions from remote locations, which can be a time-saver that also enhances overall service quality.

HR Connect

Several ARC HR customers are users of the Department of the Treasury's HR Connect application.

Treasury's HR Connect Program Office is ARC's partner as a designated shared service center through the HR Line of Business. HR Connect allows managers to electronically initiate, approve, and track personnel actions and awards, and view all types of personnel data on employees reporting to them or to their subordinate supervisors. Employees can review and request changes to their own personnel information and have access to one stop shopping for most of their HR needs.
