Thank you for your interest in the ITDS program. The ITDS program supports federal agencies with missions tied to import and export security, regulation, and/or analysis as they prepare for, integrate their business requirements into, deploy and sustain U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s Automated Commercial Environment (ACE), a major modernization project.

Letter of Interest
Once the first steps are completed, your agency is requested to submit a statement-of- interest letter addressed to the ITDS Board Chairman. The signatory of this letter should be an agency official with the authority to confirm your agency’s interest in participation.

ACE Support Team Agency Liaison
Once you’ve received confirmation from CBP, an AST Agency Liaison will be assigned to your agency and will contact your agency POC regarding participation in the ITDS Workshops . . .ITDS Workshops
The AST conducts a series of workshops and presentations to support PGA development activities with respect to ACE integration. All agencies must participate in the preparatory workshops in order to participate in the ACE release level design and development activities.- Introductory Workshop
Provides ITDS background information and details the process your agency will follow to fully integrate into ACE. - ACE Scope Workshop
Describes the key business processes and functionality within the scope of the ACE project. - Business Process Analysis Workshop # 1
Teaches you the skills needed to identify and document your agency’s international trade business processes as they are today (from an “As-Is” perspective) in a manner which ensures your business needs are met in ACE. - Data Collection Workshop
Explains the method used to gather your agency’s data requirements in preparation for participation in the ITDS Data Architecture Group. - Business Process Analysis Workshop #2
Teaches you the skills needed to identify and document your agency’s international trade business processes as you envision them in the ACE environment (from a “To-Be” perspective) in a manner which ensures your business needs are met in ACE. - Agency Specific Concept of Operations Workshop
Builds upon the work done in the Business Process Analysis Workshops 1 & 2 by utilizing As-Is and To-Be business processes to produce your agency Concept of Operations (ConOps) document. - Release Specific Business Process Identification Presentation
Presents an in-depth look at release specific functionality and prepares you for participation in release design activities.

The Data Harmonization Integrated Product Team (IPT)

captures, evaluates, and streamlines the ACE data needs of all PGAs. The harmonized data elements are then included in the ITDS Standard Data Set, which serves as a common data dictionary across the PGAs and is moving toward alignment with ACE data requirements and the international standards set by the World Customs Organization (WCO). The goal of this work is to support “single window” filing, a concept whereby the trade community will submit all of its federally mandated import and/or export data through the ACE single interface.Government Support Network (GSN)
The Government Support Network (GSN) conference is held annually to provide updates on ACE development to participating agencies and other federal agencies wishing to learn more about ACE and the ITDS program.
