Program Manager
Ms. Jaure has more than twenty years of experience in the field of housing and community development. She has worked
at the management level on housing and community development issues relating to low-income communities, both rural
and urban. Prior to joining the Fund, Ms. Jaure managed federal grants targeted to credit unions for the National
Credit Union Foundation. She has also worked as a federal contractor, where she managed multi-million dollar,
multi-year contracts with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). In the mid-1990s, Ms. Jaure served
as the Executive Director of a national Native American housing association, where she helped pass major legislation
reforming HUD’s tribal housing program. She has also worked as a lobbyist and consultant to affordable housing groups
and community development corporations. In that capacity, she wrote proposals for CDFI’s technical assistance grant
program and its financial assistance program. Ms. Jaure has a Masters in Planning from the University of Wyoming with
an emphasis on rural planning.
