Program Manager

Matt Josephs is the Program Manager for the New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) Program at the Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) Fund of the United States Department of the Treasury. Matt has been with the Fund since March of 1999. His first position was as an analyst for the Policy and Research unit. In December of 2003 he was named Manager for the NMTC Program.

Prior to joining the CDFI Fund, Matt served on the staff of the Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs of the United States Senate, where he concentrated on issues relating to housing and community development. Matt has also worked as a policy analyst at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, in the Office of Public and Indian Housing.

Matt received a Bachelors of Arts Degree from Emory University in 1990, and a Masters of Public Policy from the University of California at Berkeley in 1997.
