On Wednesday, December 10, 2003 National Public Radio (NPR) aired a five minute story on the CDFI Fund. Specifically, respected NPR reporter Elizabeth Arnold traveled by small plane with Director Tony T. Brown and Native American Initiatives Manager Margaret Nilson from Anchorage, Alaska to three small remote Alaskan Native villages. The trip was coordinated by Alaska Growth Capital, a certified CDFI located in Anchorage that provides financing for business development across the state.
