Norfork, AR, March 26, 2008 -- Beverly Palmer, a Federal Emergency Management Agency Individual Assistance specialist, looks over the remnants that have been removed from a residence that had more than 24 inches of White River floodwaters within its walls for several days. Beverly is part of a Preliminary Damage Assessment team, comprised of local, county, state and federal officials, who are documenting the damages caused by a storm system that affected Arkansas in mid-March, depositing as much as a foot of rain in a two day period in some areas.
