The Type of Material Search Limit helps users refine a Title, Guided Keyword, Command Keyword or Keyword search so that it retrieves only catalog records of a desired material type.

Material Types

The following lists material types with references to the official designation to use when setting limits (in bold):
Architectural Drawing
use Photograph, Print, Drawing

Archival Manuscript/Mixed Material
In general, a collection of materials under archival control such as letters, diaries, subject files, or family papers, often including material in a variety of formats, such as print material, photographs, and drawings.

Atlas

Audio Recording
