  • PERUVIAN CONGRESS SUBSCRIBES AGREEMENT OF COOPERATION WITH U.S. CONGRESS

    Peruvian Congress signed an agreement of cooperation with the U.S. Congress to exchange information and provide technology support and modernize the Peruvian Congress. U.S. congressman David Price and Peruvian congressman Walter Alva signed the agreement on August 18, 2009.

HIP HOP SINGER GEORGE "RITHM" MARTINEZ IS IN LIMA
George Martinez, political pioneer of the U.S. hip hop community, is in Lima hosted by the U.S. Embassy from August 19 to the 26th. Martinez will work with youth from Villa El Salvador, El Agustino, and Carmen de la Legua, in Lima for youth empowerment.
