ICE FOIA Status

The status of your ICE FOIA request is available online, simply by entering in the space below the FOIA Case Number that was provided to you in your acknowledgement letter. (The Case Number will begin with the year, FOIA, etc.).

If your request is pending (waiting for response records from program office), or we have received records but waiting to assign it to a processor (to be processed= TBP), the status will indicate the position of your request relative to all pending and TBP ICE requests in the processing tracks simple and complex.

If the request is currently be processed it will indicate the name of the processor working on your case.

If your request has been processed and responded to within the past six months, you will be given the date your request was closed.
