The National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Job Opportunity Locator is intended to be a simple-to-use tool aimed at NHSC Scholarship and Loan Repayors who are in search of jobs that qualify toward fulfilling their obligations to the NHSC. It features two ways to search for current job opportunities:
by State (and optionally by county within a State), or
within a specified distance of an address or ZIP code.
Job opportunity searches are focused on a specific discipline. (The tool is not designed or intended to find and display all opportunities across all disciplines at once.)
Searches can be narrowed (limited) to focus on:
opportunities for particular specialties within a given discipline, and / or
opportunities available only to scholarship repayers or only to loan repayors, and / or
opportunities that are projected to be filled with respect to some date (before a given date, after a given date, or between two dates)
Search results can be displayed in two ways:
as a text-only list, or
as a list with an accompanying interactive map that displays the location of each opportunity found.
