Timeline Now Available for Bank Enterprise Award Program Materials
September 10, 2008
Washington, DC - Through the Bank Enterprise Award (BEA) Program, the Community Development Financial Institutions Fund encourages Insured Depository Institutions to increase their levels of loans, investments, services and technical assistance within Distressed Communities, and financial assistance to Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) through grants, loans, deposits and other forms of assistance. BEA Program awards are based on a percentage of the increase in the amount of Qualified Activities from a Baseline Period to a later Assessment Period (the corresponding time the following year). Specific Qualified Activities are defined in the Interim Rule (12 CFR 1806.103).
In FY 2009, the CDFI Fund will make several program documents available to the public.
