This report provides in-depth healthcare workforce assessments for 10 pilot States. It includes a summary of data and a description of the extent each State invests in collecting workforce data; a description of various issues and influences affecting the health workforce; an assessment of each State's internal capacity and existing strategies for addressing workforce issues; and an analysis of the policy implications of current workforce data, issues, capacity, and strategies. It includes tables and figures.
