conference is intended to showcase recent scientific results in neutron science in a wide range of fields, including soft and hard condensed matter, liquids, biology, magnetism, engineering materials, chemical spectroscopy, crystal structure, fundamental physics, and developments in neutron instrumentation.

Conference Format

ACNS 2008 is designed around a combination of invited and contributed talks, along with poster sessions. Nominations for invited speakers will be solicited in the fall of 2007, and the ACNS Web site will be opened for abstract submissions in the spring of 2008. The conference particularly encourages the participation of graduate students, postdocs and new faculty. Always welcome are established researchers in neutron scattering and related disciplines. For the former groups, funds will be available to help defray travel expenses.
