Technical Assistance Resources

The following technical assistance (TA) resources provide an array of services with the support of the Office of Rural Health Policy (ORHP).

General TA

Rural Assistance Center (not a U.S. Government web site)

Serves a variety of health care entities seeking information about rural health and human services. RAC serves as an "information portal" to help rural communities and other rural stakeholders access the full range of available programs, funding, and research.

TA for Specific Rural Issues

Delta Rural Hospital Performance Improvement Project (RHPI)

Serves small, rural hospitals with 50 or fewer beds in the Mississippi Delta Region.

National Center for Frontier Communities (not a U.S. Government web site)

Serves those seeking information on frontier and remote rural issues.

National Association of Rural Health Clinics (NARHC) (not a U.S. Government web site)

Serves Federally Certified Rural Health Clinics (RHC) through bi-monthly national teleconference calls on issues of interest to the RHC community.

National Center for Rural Health Works (not a U.S. Government web site)

Serves health care professionals in states that are implementing the health impact model and provides information on the impact of health policy on local and state economies.

National Rural Recruitment and Retention Network (3RNet) (not a U.S. Government web site)

Serves statewide programs, community resources, professional associations, health professionals seeking employment, and recruitment and retention organizations to improve the rural health care workforce.

Rural EMS and Trauma Technical Assistance Center (REMSTTAC)

Serves EMS/Trauma policy makers, rural health policy makers, regional and local EMS agency directors, and others regarding EMS services, funding, training, and research.

Rural PACE Technical Assistance Program

Serves provider organizations interested in developing long term care services using the Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) model.

TA for ORHP Grantees

Delta Technical Assistance (administered by Georgia State University Health Policy Center and RAC)

Serves Delta States Rural Development Network Grant Program Grantees.

Rural Health Network Development and Rural Health Care Outreach Services Technical Assistance Program ("TAP") (administered by the Georgia State University, Georgia Health Policy Center)

Serves Rural Health Care Services Outreach Grantees and Rural Health Network Development Grantees.

Technical Assistance & Services Center (TASC)

Serves Medicare Rural Hospital Flexibility Program (Flex Program) Grantees.
