Abstract:

This study addresses the comparison of medication utilization in elderly assisted living residents in both rural and non-rural settings. It includes an analysis of inappropriately prescribed medications, drug-to-drug interactions, with emphasis on major drug-to drug interactions among residents in both rural and non-rural assisted living facilities. This report includes tables, references, and appendices.
