Abstract:

This report, one of a series, discusses a study that collected and assessed health care workforce data for eight States: Colorado, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, and Tennessee. It presents comparative data for all eight States, followed by summary and analysis in five key areas: workforce supply and demand, health professions education, physician practice location, licensure and regulation of practice, and improving the practice environment. The report includes tables and figures.
