- The President signed an Executive Order on October 20, 2004 to implement the requirements of the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Program. The program honors the service rendered to the United States by veterans with disabilities incurred or aggravated in the line of duty during active service with the armed forces. It provides certain benefits for business owned by service-disabled veterans seeking contracts with the federal government. Section 5 of the Executive Order required DAU to establish an online training module for the program.
The purpose of this training module is explain the basic requirements of the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Program. In order to successfully complete this module and receive your certificate and one continuous learning point, you must go through all lessons until the orange circles are filled in on the Table of Contents and you must score 100% on the post test. You will have as many attempts as you need to attain the 100% score.
