On this day in 2004, more
than 4,500 U.S. Marshals Service employees nationwide have marked
the beginning of a year long celebration of their agency’s 215th
anniversary. The anniversary recognizes
the nation’s
oldest federal law enforcement agency’s rich history and bright
future.
