Abstract:

This newsletter addresses problems facing primary care providers in giving care to HIV-positive individuals addicted to illicit drugs. It contains profiles of four providers serving HIV-positive substance abusers and a chart estimating HIV/AIDS cases in eligible metropolitan areas linked to intravenous drug use. The report includes tables and figures.
