NSF deploys a new redesign of FastLane's Research Administration Module.

NSF is pleased to announce the redesign of FastLane's Research Administration Module. This effort encompasses a rebranding of the module incorporating streamlined navigation and new functionality as requested by Sponsored Projects Office officials.

Since September 04, 2003, the new redesign of the Research Administration Module has been available on NSF's FastLane Demonstration Site. Research Administrators are encouraged to access the Demonstration Site to learn more about the enhancements by accessing url: www.fldemo.nsf.gov

New features include:

• In-Box of pending work items
• Automated Change Organization Name request form
• Mechanism to Transfer Data to Excel
• Consolidated Change PI/Co-PI request form
• Automated Cost Sharing Equal To or Greater Than $500K notification (Released September 14, 2003)
• Ability to view active and expired Award and Amendment Letters
• Enhanced search criteria
• Capability to sort all search results by column titles
• Ability to manage Notifications and Requests more easily
