2DWG - 2D World Database 2D Protein Gels

Description:
2DWG is a meta-database of 2D-PAGE protein gel images found in other databases on the Web. It is organized as a spreadsheet table with each gel image represented by a row. Data for each gel entry includes tissue, species, cell-line, image URL, database URL, gel protocol, organization URL, image properties, map URL if it exists, etc. It may be searched by various properties of the data. Once a search results table is generated, you can visually compare, using the Flicker, applet (http://www.ccrnp.ncifcrf.gov/flicker) two images from the table or one from the table and one from an arbitrary web address (such as your data on your Web site). This data could also be used with the new downloadable Flicker application (http://open2dprot.sourceforge.net/Flicker).
