Memphis – U.S. Marshals Great Lakes
Regional Fugitive Task Force (GLRFTF) and Indianapolis Metro Police
(IMPD) arrested Memphis murder suspect Gary “Little Bud” Bohanon,
20, who was wanted for the October 17, 2007 first degree murder of
Ronald Moore in Memphis Tennessee.
The U.S. Marshals’ Mid-South Fugitive Task Force located in Memphis,
developed information that Bohannon was staying in the Indianapolis
area and requested the assistance of U.S. Marshals’ GLRFTF and the
IMPD Wednesday afternoon.
Deputy U.S. Marshals and police
observed Bohanon leaving the home of the Indiana Pacers’ forward and
former University of Memphis Basketball player Shawne Williams
around 6 p.m. Wednesday. Police watched Bohanon get into a Dodge
truck that was registered to Williams, which was stopped by Marshals
and police. He was taken into custody without incident. Police
conducted a search of the vehicle and recovered $15,000 in cash.
Bohanon is being held in Indianapolis without bond and will await
extradition back to Memphis.
Also arrested was an unidentified man
who is also wanted in Memphis for possession of cocaine and has been
charged in Indianapolis for driving on a suspended license.
