U.S. Marshals Service Arrests Sex Offender Robert St. Dennis

Lone Star Fugitive Task Force LogoWaco, TX - On October 10, 2007, Fugitive Sex Offender Robert St. Dennis was arrested in Wishram, WA by Deputy Marshals from the E/WA.  St. Dennis was wanted by the Copperas Cove, TX Police Dept. for Failing to Register as a Sex Offender in Texas and by the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force for a violation of 18 USC 2250(a).  In July 2007, the Copperas Cove Police Dept. received an emergency request from the Texas Dept. of Health and Human Services-Child Protective Services Division-to immediately investigate allegations regarding a minor child who was possibly sexually assaulted by St. Dennis in Copperas Cove, TX.

Upon beginning the investigation, it was learned the alleged predator was St. Dennis.  He immediately fled Texas and traveled back to his home state of Washington where he had previously been convicted of a sex crime against a minor.  Within days of beginning the fugitive investigation, it was learned St. Dennis was living with a single mother and her child in E/WA.  St. Dennis was arrested at the residence and a search warrant was prepared to obtain his computer and other media devices.
