November 13, 2008
- On 11/12/08, Calvin “Naked Mouth” Waters was arrested in Baton Rouge by members
of the Middle Louisiana Fugitive Task Force for Attempted Second Degree Murder,
Second Degree Battery, Aggravated Burglary, and Illegal Use of a Weapon.

November 07, 2008 - Operation Pick-up (NCMEC) Fugitive Arrest
- On 11/6/08, Mary Mathis was arrested in Baton Rouge,
Louisiana for Kidnapping and Violation of a Protection Order. Mathis was wanted
by the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office for the parental abduction of her 13
year old daughter on October 24. Investigators from the W/LA- Lafayette Division
obtained information the Mathis was hiding out in Baton Rouge and contacted the
Middle Louisiana Fugitive Task Force for assistance. MLFTF and TOG-Baton Rouge
Investigators located Mathis and the juvenile walking near the LSU campus.
Mathis was booked into the WBRSO jail awaiting removal to Lafayette and the
juvenile, through the Louisiana Office of Children Services, was turned over to
her father.

November 07, 2008 -
Task Force Fugitive Arrest - On 11/6/08, Hardy Robinson was arrested in Maringouin, Louisiana by members of
the Middle Louisiana Fugitive Task Force for First Degree Murder and Armed
Robbery. Robinson was wanted by the Del City (Oklahoma) Police Department for a
July 31, 2008 incident. DCPD detectives allege that Robinson, along with other
suspects, shot and killed a man during an altercation. The MLFTF was contacted
by detectives from the Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office after a confidential
source advised them that Robinson had traveled to Maringouin to avoid arrest in
Oklahoma. MLFTF and Iberville Investigators responded to the Ridgewood
Apartments, located Robinson, and arrested him without incident. Robinson was
booked into the West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office awaiting extradition to
Oklahoma.

November 06, 2008 - Task Force Fugitive Arrest
-
On 11/5/08, Theodore Wiggins was arrested by members of the Middle Louisiana
Fugitive Task Force in Baker, Louisiana for Rape. Wiggins was wanted by the West
Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office for raping a woman the previous night in
Port Allen, Louisiana. MLFTF Investigators worked quickly to obtain multiple
address Wiggins was known to use and located him within hours of the attack.
Wiggins was taken into custody without incident.

October 29, 2008
- A fifteen month run from the law ended last
night in Memphis for a Baton Rouge murder suspect. Donovan Springer has been
wanted by the Baton Rouge Police Department since the July 28, 2007 incident
that left one victim dead and another wounded. The Middle Louisiana Fugitive
Task Force had been actively searching for Springer, even placing his
profile on the U.S. Marshals, America’s Most Wanted, and Crime Stoppers of
Baton Rouge websites.

October 22, 2008 -
Task Force Fugitive Arrest -
On
10/21/08, Elliot J. Howard was arrested by members of the Middle Louisiana
Fugitive Task Force for two counts of Attempted First Degree Murder. Howard
was wanted by the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office for an October 19th
shooting incident in which he allegedly shot a victim multiple times. During
the incident, Howard fired at a second victim but missed as the victim fled.
Working with Inspectors from TOG-Baton Rouge, MLFTF investigators obtained a
possible address for Howard and responded to the scene. MLFTF investigators
made contact with Howard’s girlfriend at the residence, observed him looking
out an upstairs bedroom window, and forced his surrender. Howard was booked
at the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office without incident.

October 10, 2008
- The third of four suspects wanted in
connection with the attempted murder of a man last month surrendered to the
Middle Louisiana Fugitive Task Force this afternoon. Chadrick Carter, 33, of
Zachary, was charged with three counts of Principle to Attempted First
Degree Murder, Aggravated Second Degree Battery, and Criminal Damage to
Property.

October 07,
2008 - A Baton Rouge man accused
of murder was arrested this afternoon by the U.S. Marshals Service at a New
Orleans apartment complex. Sanchez Reddick, 19, was wanted by the Baton
Rouge Police Department for First Degree Murder, three counts of Attempted
First Degree Murder, Attempted Armed Robbery, and Illegal Use of a Weapon.

September 09, 2008
- A missing girl from Denham Springs was
recovered by the U.S. Marshals Service this afternoon at a Tulsa,
Oklahoma apartment complex. Jennifer O. Winter, 39, of Denham
Springs was arrested by U.S. Marshals at the Windsail Apartments on
a warrant issued by the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office for
non-custodial kidnapping.
- June 02, 2008 - Task Force Fugitive
Arrest - On 5/30/08,
Dominic Ransom was arrested by investigators from the Middle Louisiana Fugitive
Task Force (MLFTF). Ransom was wanted by the Baton Rouge Police Department for
two counts of Aggravated Rape. BRPD detectives say that Ransom forced a seven
year old victim to commit sexual acts. MLFTF investigators, acting on a Crime
Stoppers tip, determined that Ransom was staying with a friend and responded to
the residence. As MLFTF investigators made contact at the front door, Ransom
attempted to flee out the back door. Ransom saw investigators in the rear of the
residence and retreated back inside. Investigators forced entry into the house
and took Ransom into custody after Taser deployment.
- May 21, 2008 - Task Force Fugitive Operation
- On May 19-21,
2008, the Middle Louisiana Fugitive Task Force (MLFTF) participated in
Operation Hide and Seek. The operation, conducted by the East Baton
Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office, included law enforcement officers from
seven different agencies and targeted persons wanted on outstanding
warrants. The three day operation resulted in the arrest of 100
fugitives and cleared 293 warrants. Operation Hide and Seek was the
first in a series of fugitive initiatives to be held in the Baton Rouge
area during the summer of 2008 directed to suppress the number of
outstanding warrants for crimes of violence, narcotics violations, and
sexual offenses.

April 22,
2008 - An Ascension Parish fugitive profiled on the FOX television
program America’s Most Wanted and digital billboards all over the Southern
United States was arrested Monday night in Holden, Louisiana. John Ryan
Stephens was wanted by the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office for failing to
appear for trial in December of 2002. Middle Louisiana Fugitive Task Force
Investigators used tips from callers who saw AMW and the Crime Stoppers
“wanted posters” to end Stephens’ almost six year run.

April 17,
2008 - Investigators from the Middle Louisiana Fugitive Task Force arrested Richard C.
Lockett. Lockett was wanted by the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office for
Attempted 1st Degree Murder in connection with a February 2, 2008
incident. Lockett is accused of shooting the victim during an attempted robbery
outside the victim’s residence.

April 11,
2008 - On 4/9/08,
Brandon Walker was arrested by investigators from the Middle Louisiana Fugitive
Task Force. Walker was wanted by the Baton Rouge Police Department for
Aggravated Kidnapping and Aggravated Burglary.

April 08,
2008 - On 4/7/08, Justin and
Thomas Feffe were arrested by investigators from the Middle Louisiana
Fugitive Task Force. Thomas Feffe was wanted by the Baton Rouge Police
Department for Attempted 1st Degree Murder and Illegal Use of a Weapon in
connection with a January 30, 2008 incident. Thomas is accused of shooting
at two subjects at a Baton Rouge apartment complex. One of the victims was
shot, but has recovered from his injuries. Justin Feffe was wanted as a
principle to the above incident.

April 04, 2008 -
Charles E. Porter was arrested by investigators from the Middle
Louisiana Fugitive Task Force. Porter was arrested and booked for possession with intent to
distribute and the cocaine was seized as evidence pending prosecution. Porter
has a long criminal history that includes five previous arrests for drug
offenses.

March 27, 2008 -
George A. Julien was arrested by investigators from the Middle Louisiana
Fugitive Task Force (MLFTF). Julien was wanted by the Ascension Parish
Sheriff’s Office (APSO) for Aggravated Battery from an incident in July
of 2006 and Aggravated Assault with a Firearm, Aggravated Burglary, and
Illegal Use of a Weapon in connection with a December 3, 2006 incident.

March 24, 2008 - David McDowell was arrested by investigators from the Middle
Louisiana Fugitive Task Force (MLFTF). McDowell was wanted by the East Feliciana Parish
Sheriff’s Office (EFPSO) for failure to comply with a court order. McDowell was
considered a “Dead-Beat Dad” and owed in excess of $70,000.00 in back child
support. The warrant was issued in May of 2007 and McDowell went on the run.

March 24, 2008
- Jimmy Pipes, Jr. was arrested by investigators from the
Middle Louisiana Fugitive Task Force. Pipes was wanted by the Nacogdoches County
Sheriff’s Office for violations of his Texas probation. USMS E/TX-Beaumont
developed information that Pipes was living in Livingston, Louisiana with his
wife.

March 15, 2008
- Thanh Tran was arrested by investigators from the Middle
Louisiana Fugitive Task Force. Tran was wanted for violations of his federal
supervised release. Tran was also wanted by the FBI and DEA for his involvement
in an international drug trafficking organization.

February 29, 2008
- Labron Givens was arrested by
investigators from the Middle Louisiana Fugitive Task Force. Givens was
wanted by the Baton Rouge Police Department for four counts of
aggravated rape. Givens is alleged to have committed these offenses
against the 10 year old daughter of his ex-girlfriend. Givens used money
and the threat of violence to keep the victim from revealing the abuse
for almost two years.

February 24, 2008
- Major Case fugitive Bobby
Weatherton surrendered to authorities at the US Courthouse in Memphis,
Tennessee. Weatherton was wanted by the Ascension Parish (Louisiana) Sheriff’s
Office for Attempted 1st Degree Murder, Aggravated Rape, and
Aggravated Kidnapping. Weatherton was also wanted for violations of federal
probation.

February 23, 2008
- Investigators from the Gulf Coast
Regional Fugitive Task Force and TOG arrested Ronald Shearon in
Jackson, Mississippi. Shearon was wanted by the Louisiana State Police for
manslaughter and hit and run. On 2/21/08, Shearon is alleged to have been
the driver of truck that struck a pedestrian in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

February 05, 2008
- On 02/01/08,
investigators from the San Diego Regional Fugitive Task Force (SDRFTF) arrested Raymond
Young. Young was wanted by the Baton Rouge Police Department for his
role in the armed robbery of a pharmacy. Also on 02/01/08,
Denako “Mutt” Duheart surrendered with his attorney at the East Baton Rouge
Parish Prison. Duheart was wanted by the Baton Rouge Police Department for 1st
Degree Murder, conspiracy to commit 1st Degree Murder and Aggravated
Kidnapping.

February 01, 2008
- Denako “Mutt” Duheart surrendered with his attorney at the East
Baton Rouge Parish Prison. Duheart was wanted by the Baton Rouge Police
Department for 1st Degree Murder, conspiracy to commit 1st
Degree Murder and Aggravated Kidnapping. The charges against Duheart stem from a
Halloween night murder of a subject that was beaten over two days and
found burned in Baton Rouge.

January 25, 2008
- On 01/22/08,
investigators from the Middle Louisiana Fugitive Task Force arrested Antoine
Sims. Sims was wanted by the Baton Rouge (Louisiana) Police Department for
attempted 1st Degree Murder, aggravated kidnapping, false
imprisonment, aggravated battery, and theft. Also on 01/22/08,
investigators from the Middle Louisiana Fugitive Task Force arrested Shawn
Hammond. Hammond was wanted by the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s
Office (STPSO) for 2nd Degree Murder.

December
04, 2007 - A four month search for a Baton Rouge man wanted for
murder ended in Jacksonville, Florida last night. The U.S. Marshals
Service from Jacksonville arrested Christopher Downs, 28, at an
apartment complex. Downs is wanted by the Baton Rouge Police Department
for murder and attempted murder for his role in a shooting that occurred
on July 29, 2007. Baton Rouge detectives say that Downs shot and killed
Charles Okafor, Jr. A second man was shot in the arm, but survived his
wounds.
- November 20,
2007 - Members of the
Middle Louisiana Fugitive Task Force (MLAFTF) arrested Byron
Williams in Baton Rouge. Williams was wanted by the Baton Rouge
Police Department for possession with intent to distribute cocaine,
resisting arrest, and simple battery stemming from a domestic
violence incident.
- August 31,
2007 - A three month
search for the most wanted man in Point Coupee Parish came to an end
this morning at a Dallas apartment complex. A U.S. Marshals Service
Task Force based in Dallas located Brandon Brue, 24, of New Roads,
hiding behind a couch at the Murdeaux Villas Apartments. Brue
is wanted in the connection with the murder of his ex-wife and the
attempted murder of another man.
- July 18,
2007 - In one of the
largest fugitive initiatives ever undertaken in the Baton Rouge
area, the U.S. Marshals Service, teamed with law enforcement
agencies from throughout the Capital Area, arrested 91 fugitives and
cleared 153 warrants during a recent six-day, nine Parish sweep. The
arrests took place from July 9-14 as part of efforts associated with
Operation FALCON (Federal and Local Cops Organized Nationally).

May 31, 2007
- The US Marshals Service arrested a man wanted by the Baton Rouge
Police Department and has been featured as a “Most Wanted” fugitive
on Crimestoppers this afternoon in Kansas City, Missouri.
- May 25, 2007
- The U.S. Marshals Service arrested a man wanted by the Livingston
Parish Sheriff’s Office and Georgia authorities today in
Tallahassee, Florida. William G. Hubbard, 39, was arrested at a job
site pursuant to several warrants from multiple jurisdictions.
Hubbard was serving time in a Georgia County Jail in early 2006 when
he decided to walk away from a work release program.
- May 22, 2007
- Mila R. Bennett, known in Ohio as Mila Dove, was arrested by the
Middle Louisiana Fugitive Task Force for non-payment of court
ordered child support. Bennett is alleged to have failed to pay
support since 2001 and now owes over $50,000 in back payment.
- May 11, 2007
- A violent fugitive wanted in connection with several armed
robberies in Baton Rouge was arrested by U.S. Marshals in
Alexandria. The Baton Rouge based Middle Louisiana Fugitive
Task Force led the investigation to find Alvin Washington III, 22,
after he was identified by the Baton Rouge Police Department (BRPD)
as the main suspect in the armed robberies of four pharmacies last
month.
- April 12,
2007 - A dangerous fugitive is wanted by the U.S. Marshals
Fugitive Task Force. Jerome Albert Sayles, Jr., 22, of Baton Rouge
is wanted by the Baton Rouge Police Department in connection with a
homicide that occurred as a result of a shooting on March 27th in
the Hooters/Clicks parking lot on College Drive.
- December 08,
2006 - Members of the U.S. Marshals led Middle Louisiana Fugitive
Task Force
arrested a Greensburg man in connection with a brutal
rape that
occurred in Tyler, Texas. Joseph Alfred Haywood, Jr., 41, was
arrested at his
residence for allegedly brutally raping and torturing a woman after
leaving a Tyler nightclub in October of 1995.
- November 06,
2006 - A dangerous fugitive from New Orleans was
arrested by the members of the Middle Louisiana Fugitive Task Force
with the assistance of the New Orleans based Crescent Star Fugitive
Task Force (CSFTF) and the Southern University Campus Police
Department. Leroy Massey, 21, was placed on the New Orleans Most
Wanted list based on warrants charging him with murder and attempted
murder in New Orleans and Jefferson Parish.
