Mefloquine would be the most suitable drug.
There is malaria risk in Delhi, and chloroquine-resistant Plasmodium
falciparum has been reported in India . (In addition to
mefloquine, other appropriate drugs against chloroquine-resistant
malaria would be doxycycline and atovaquone-proguanil.) While P.
vivax does occur in India, the duration and intensity
of exposure does not justify terminal prophylaxis with primaquine.
