December 4-7, 2006 Cincinnati, OH
This conference is centered on the impact of Nanotechnology on occupational and environmental health and safety from two perspectives: (1) promotion and protection of individual safety and health along the life cycle of nano-based products and (2) use of emerging technology in prevention and detection/treatment of occupational and environmental diseases.

Attendees at this conference will have the opportunity to hear from and interact with professionals from industry who will be sharing their experiences in dealing with the research, development, manufacture and use of nanomaterials. There will also be important updates on current perspectives on nanotechnology form EPA, OSHA, FDA and CPSC. An Industry Forum will continue the dialogue on important issues that were identified at the 2nd International Symposium in Minneapolis, October 2005. There will also be a series of TechTalks where attendees will be able to have active discussion with experts representing multiple areas of interest, including exposure measurement; engineering controls; medical monitoring and ethical issues; hazard and risk communication; and focused study results
