Indianapolis, IN -- The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Indiana State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) are sending a mobile Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) to four locations to take information to individuals who may have questions after they have applied for disaster assistance. To apply for assistance, residents in the disaster-declared counties should call 1 800 621-3362 (TTY 1 800 462-7585).
These are temporary locations. Residents may visit a mobile DRC at any of the following times and locations:
DELAWARE COUNTY: Gaston Town Hall 107 North Sycamore Street Gaston |
Open Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 2 and 3 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. |
POSEY COUNTY: Wadesville Fire Department Corner of Princeton & Main Wadesville |
Open Wednesday through Saturday, Oct. 2 - 5 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. |
MADISON COUNTY: Edgewood Fire Department 3321 Nichol Ave. Edgewood |
Open Friday and Saturday, Oct. 4 and 5 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. |
KNOX COUNTY: Blue Jean Center 1242 Main Street Monroe City |
Open Monday through Wednesday, Oct. 7 - 9 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. |
(Additional centers may be opened at other locations based on need.)
Disaster recovery specialists will be on hand to answer questions and Small Business Administration (SBA) loan representatives will be available at the center to assist victims with low-interest loan applications. Personnel at the centers can also provide disaster housing information, technical assistance on how to reduce future disaster damages, and referrals to local voluntary agencies and other assistance programs.
