In vivo Cancer Molecular Imaging Centers (ICMICs)

NCI has awarded seven grants to support In vivo Cancer Molecular Imaging Centers (ICMICs). The ICMIC grants facilitate interaction among scientists from a variety of fields to conduct multidisciplinary research on cellular and molecular imaging related to cancer. These are P50 Specialized Programs of Research Excellence (SPOREs) grants. The NCI is also supporting 12 Pre-ICMIC P20 planning grants which provide time and funds for investigators and institutions to prepare themselves, organizationally and scientifically, to establish an ICMIC.
