WEPAN (Women in Engineering ProActive Network) invites authors to translate research into practice and share the results through workshops, papers and poster presentations focused on “Effective Strategies for Recruitment and Talent Development.” All papers are peer reviewed and will be published digitally by WEPAN in cooperation with the Office of Digital Scholarly Publishing, a joint effort of The Pennsylvania State University Libraries and the Penn State Press.

WEPAN is currently soliciting nominations for 6 board positions whose terms will begin July 1, 2009. The six openings include 3 positions to be elected by the membership and 3 positions to be appointed by the current WEPAN Board of Directors. The Girls, Math & Science Partnership's mission is to engage, educate, and embrace girls as architects of change.
Working with girls age 11 - 17 and their parents, teachers, and mentors, they draw organizations, stakeholders, and communities together in an effort to ensure that girls succeed in math and science.
Find all WEPAN conference papers through the new, archival Proceedings of WEPAN conferences. The proceedings begin with the inaugural conference in 1990 and go through 2001. The 2001-2007 proceedings will be available in Fall 2007.
The proceedings are a joint project of WEPAN and the Pennsylvania State University Libraries.
