Summary: (CIT): NCI Director’s Seminar Series - National Cancer Institute. Carl B. Feldbaum, President of Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO), will provide an overview of the biotechnology industry and its history of developing cancer therapies. He will also describe the importance of collaboration between the biotechnology industry, NCI, and other groups, including academic centers. The NCI Director’s Seminar Series brings three national leaders per year to the NIH to discuss the extraordinary advances in their fields as NCI works towards helping to eliminate the suffering and death due to cancer by the year 2015.
