Many universities have programs for women in science. Such an organization will connect you to other women, provide support, and will make you more aware of available fellowships and resources. If your school does not have a program, there are many national organizations you can join.

Graduate Women in Science
The mission of Graduate Women in Science is to advance the participation and recognition of women in science and to foster research through grants, awards, and fellowships.

National Association of Graduate-Professional Students
The National Association of Graduate-Professional Students is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of graduate and professional student life in the United States of America.
