CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Helpline will be out of service on Friday, June 25, 1999, for maintenance. The Helpline is normally closed on Saturday and Sunday.

The maintenance update will allow FEMA to better serve applicants who have already registered and still have questions about available programs or the status of their applications.

Beginning Monday, June 28th the Helpline will be back online and available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (CDT) Monday through Friday.

Renters, homeowners and business owners with storm damage should apply for assistance by calling FEMA's toll-free registration line at 1-800-462-9029.
