St. Clair, MO -- The FEMA toll-free registration line and toll-free Helpline will be closed Monday, May 29. Beginning Tuesday, May 30, the registration and Helpline numbers will be available from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (CDT), seven days a week.

Renters, homeowners and business owners with damage should apply for assistance by calling FEMA's toll-free registration line at 1-800-462-9029 (TTY: 1-800-462-7585) The toll-free registration line was established for residents and business owners in the 10 Missouri counties designated eligible for individual disaster assistance because of the severe thunderstorms and flash flooding of May 6-7.

Those who have already registered and still have questions about available programs or the status of their applications can call the Helpline at 1-800-525-0321. People with hearing or speech impairments may call (TTY) 1-800-462-7585 to register with FEMA and to have questions answered.
