NIH Women's History Month Celebrations

March 9 and March 29

The Annual NIH Women's History Month Celebration, sponsored by the Office of Equal Opportunity and Diversity Management (OEODM) opens with a themed celebration: "Spirit, Courage and Critical Thinking" on Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at the Natcher Auditorium, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. Communications artist, Ann Timmons, will enlighten with a performance Off the Wall, the Life and Works of Charlotte Perkins Gilman. This one woman, one act play focuses on critical thinking skills and will last approximately one hour. A workshop discussion of the play and Q and A will follow at Natcher in Conference room B.

The celebration of Women's History Month closes with a themed seminar "Spirit, Courage and Global Collaboration" on Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at the NIH Stonehouse from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm featuring Ms. Cheryl Kelley, Special Emphasis Program Manager, FDA. This seminar will focus on mentoring as a proven skill to enhance collaborations.
