Population Research Infrastructure Program (PRIP) Directors’ Meeting

Location: Bureau of Labor Statistics Conference Center, Washington, D.C.
Purpose: This meeting is intended to enhance collaboration and communication among PRIP grantees and between PRIP grantees and other population research centers. Specific goals include:

  • Exploring possibilities for collaboration among data-sharing enclaves located at grantee institutions, and enhancing collaboration on other aspects of data access and dissemination;
  • Developing strategies to advance population health research; and
  • Discussing the potential of new technologies for data collection in order to advance population research.

This meeting may serve as a prototype for a bienniel face-to-face meeting of PRIP directors during which they can address substantive, collaborative, and administrative issues.
