Science and Ecology of Early Development (SEED) Grantee Meeting: Child Care Research Meets Policy

Location: National Institutes of Health, Building 31, Conference Room 6 (6th floor)

Purpose: The NICHD and NIDA hold a grantee meeting every year for successful applicants to the SEED (Science and Ecology of Early Development) program announcement. This year, the meeting will be held in conjunction with the Brookings Institute in Washington, D.C. The purpose of this "Policy Meets Research" meeting is for grantees and policy researchers to participate in joint sessions. Current and proposed policies to assist children and families in poverty will be discussed in light of research findings coming out of the SEED program. This meeting may also be of interest to a range of federal policy decision makers, program managers from federal agencies, and academic researchers interested in applying for the SEED program.
